1974 Suzuki GT750L Colours

The 1974 general export model came in two colours - Flake Blue (paint code 761) and Flake Orange (paint code 762). Two additional colours were available in Japan - see a full list here.

No stripping combinations are recorded, although both a black tape (code 392) and a silver metallic tape (code number 742) were used as an accent. The radiator cover was plastic, and painted in a silver grey (Suzuki colour code 126).

The tank badges no longer used a red fill on the 'Suzuki' text, having changed to being raised chrome block lettering on a matt black fill between the letters. However they continued to use the press fit plastic tank nuts, rather than being held in place with screws. As such, the 1974 tank badges are unique to that year. The frame side cover badges were the same as were used in 1973 being just 'GT750' with the 'GT' having metallic orange fill in the letters with a polished surround. The numbers were raised and polished and a matt black painted fill was used to highlight both the letters and numbers..
