1975 Suzuki GT750M Colours
The 1975 general export model came in four colours: Candy Gypsy Red 3 (code number 00J) in Europe, Candy Gypsy Red (code number 712) in North America, and Jewel Grey Metallic (code number 00A ) offered in most markets. Additional colours were offered in Japan - for a full list take a look here.
No tank striping pattern numbers are recorded, but there are part numbers for tank striping kits listed - for the North American market, the part number was 68100-31860-742. The 742 is the colour code for silver metallic tape. The only black tape colour code listed by Suzuki is 392, so presumably that's the one. Reproduction Decals actually lists three stripe kits: silver tape, white tape and black tape.
The plastic radiator cover on the fuel tank was done in gloss black (019 colour code), and the warning decal was centred on the tank flap.

| The tank badges were similar to those used in 1974, being aluminium having raised serif polished lettering with a matt black fill between the letters. 1975 is the only year that serif lettering was used on the tank badges. They continued to use the press fit plastic tank nuts, rather than being held in place with screws. The frame side covers said "GT750" with the "GT" having metallic orange fill in the letters with a polished surround. The numbers were raised and polished and a matt black painted fill was used to highlight both the letters and numbers. |
