Big 2 Stroke Twin
- Suzuki described the T500 as being 'the world's first 500cc dual stroke' which of course was not the case at all. It is true to say it was the first mass high volume 500 cc twin.
Posi-force Injection
- Controlled by the throttle load and speed-dependent oil pump which fed a piped distribution system responsible for the lubrication of the crankshaft and the cylinder surfaces. The massive centre bearing is lubricated by transmission oil.
