Katakura Auto Co., Ltd., Kobyashi, Chuo-ku, Tokyo, 1950-1960?
An interesting company. Originally starting out as company engaged in the production of raw silk, they switched production to aircraft fuselage production. Post war they changed to bicycle production and sales and in 1954 began production of motorcycles. The line of motorcycles is the 'Silk'. Supposedly using their own engine design, they produced a range of 48cc to 248 cc two-stroke engines.
