Asahi Seisakusho, Kochi City, 1952-56
旭製作所
It isn't clear to me whether this is a different company from the Tokyo based Miyata Seisakusho Co., Ltd. who produced Asahi motorcycles, however Kochi is not close to Tokyo so I'm listing it as a seperate company for the moment. Asahi Seisakusho produced the Condor (コンドル) machine. Note the tank shows Condol, so I've cross listed the name just to make it easy to find. Based on the translation tool used though, Condor does appear to be the English name.
According to various vistors to the Shikoku Automobile Museum in Kochi, where this machine is occassionally on display, production of clip-on engines for bicycles started in 1952 and the Condor appeared in 1954 with production running till about 1956. The Condor had a 90cc side valve 4 stroke engine, and a hand change gear box.
