Yamashita Workshop developed a very sucessful line of race bikes that took a series of titles in 1950 through to the end of production in 1956. Production of their brand, called the Pearl (パール号), began in 1947, and they produced a range of single cylinder 4 stroke engines in sizes of 125cc through to 250cc.
