Another division of the Daihatsu conglomerate. Daihatsu Motors produced a very popular line of three wheeled delivery vehicles in 1957 called the Midget (ミゼット号). These were actually in production through till 1972, however the handlebar steered version (types DK and DS) which came out first ended production in 1962. The early versins used an air cooled, 249cc, single cylinder two stroke engine, with a three speed transmission.
Daihatsu today is a division of Toyota.
