Nikkei Light Motor Vehicle Cooperative Association, Tokyo, 1955
日本軽自動車商工協同組合
An alternate translation of the company name is Nippon Motor Vehicle Commerce and Industry Cooperative. I have found two models listed: in the Japanese Wikipedia it lists a Nikkei (ニッケイ号), and Mike has sent me a scan of a 1955 Auto-By entry where it is shown as the Nikkei Friend F (ニツケイフレンド F号). They may be the same machine. These were 125cc, two stroke machines using engines supplied by Katakura Auto (片倉オート) who made the Silk line of machines. Is possibly a one year only company.
